2007 Philadelphia Fatherhood Festival

Daddy University, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2007 Philadelphia Fatherhood Festival for fathers, parenting organizations and fatherhood practitioners. This year’s theme is “A Change in Progress: Fatherhood is the Solution.”
The festival is designed to provide information and support for
all attendees and includes contributions by nationally-recognized speakers on topics related to fatherhood. This is a must attend event for all fathers and everyone interested in obtaining current information and practical support concerning fathers.

The 2007 Philadelphia Fatherhood Festival will be held on Saturday, June 9th. We ask that you join our blog by posting your information below so we can update you on the location, key-note speakers and workshops as they are defined.

The festival focuses on “fathers only” and “parenting practitioners” tracks, keynote speakers, “daddy bootcamp” demonstrations, workshops as well as vendor and information showcases. A few of the workshops include fatherhood & leadership training, legal issues for fathers, teen parenting, as well as relationship & conflict resolution sessions.

Our 2006 Philadelphia Fatherhood Festival was a huge success! We found an effective way to make a lasting, positive impact on fathers and parenting practitioners within the Greater Philadelphia region. As the heart of a vast community network, we were able to direct resources to fathers who were most in need. Thanks to strong support from our major funding partner, The Philadelphia Department of Human Services and contributing sponsorship from The Mayor's Office of Community Service - Fatherhood Initiative and The Philadelphia Fatherhood Practitioners Network, we were able to successfully accomplish our mission of "Empowering Fathers to Change Lives" which was the theme of last year's festival.

We are excited as we put new energy and ideas into action to increase participation in this year's festival. We believe through the relationships built with our sponsors from last year's event and the new resources and partnerships we have built, Daddy University, Inc. is uniquely positioned to give fathers an even more powerful festival this year!

To continue to thrive, we absolutely must build upon the strong foundation we have built by continuing to create more stronger pathways to effectively serve fathers. We respectfully invite you to join us in making this possible.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, vendor, volunteer or have general questions regarding the 2007 Philadelphia Fatherhood Festival, we strongly urge you to contact us immediately via e-mail at info@daddyuniv.com.

We look forward to you joining us!

I can't wait for this year's festival! The workshops were helpful and I learned alot from Alicia Corwe's book "Real Dads Stand Up!" How can I register for the event on line?

Hello! I know this is sort of off-topic but I needed to ask.

Does managing a well-established website such as yours
require a lot of work? I am brand new to writing a blog however I do write in my journal everyday.
I'd like to start a blog so I can share my own experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!

Its just the beginning so real pleasure can only be taken when you yourself
are going to make a visit to these museums and art galleries.
Note down all the possible questions like, price, refund policies, cancellation policies, additional charges, taxes, perks offered,
dress code of drivers etc. Prior to you phone,
imagined, it is a great thought to get ready
the crucial answers to the questions: How quite a few folks do you have in a occasion.
